Hermann the Horse, live in the UK – the worlds first equine stand-up comic.
Laughing Horse Comedy and the School of Veterinary Psychology at the University of Hanover proudly present the UK’s first Equine stand-up comedy show in a special night of comedy at Laughing Horse Soho.
Since touring many of the cabaret and theatre venues around Germany and central Europe with this unique act, trainer and business manager, Dr. Avril Fühl, of the School of animal psychology at the Veterinary University of Hanover, has decided to launch Hermann the Horse’s international comedy career, in London, in what is considered by many German’s to be the world-wide stand-up comedy capital - and following long discussion over the last few months, a link up with such an equine-related comedy venue as The Laughing Horse seemed almost inevitable.
The first half of this unique comedy event will take place upstairs at the Coach and Horses, in the familiar surroundings of the weekly Laughing Horse Soho Comedy show, and the second half, featuring Hermann and his trainer will take place outside the venue, in a specially cordoned off area of Great Marlborough Street.
Following the show there will be a short question and answer session, with Dr. Fühl, and club promoters Alex Petty and Kevin McCarron on the subject of pushing back the boundaries of stand-up Comedy.

Due to restrictions imposed by the local authorities, this event will be free, although donations will be asked for, which will go towards the University of Hanover animal psychology departments appeal for further research into humour in Germany.
