Welcome to the Free Edinburgh Fringe Festival |

| The
2007 Free Festival has now, sadly, come to an end - after over 2,500 performances of comedy,
theatre and music during August all accross Edinburgh. But don't worry, we're already preparing
for 2008 - when shows will run from July 31st to August
25th 2008. Come and join again next August for
plenty of award winning comedy, groundbreaking Theatre, and the best music and dance - and the
best bit... you don't have to pay a penny! |

In 2007 our shows ran from
August 4th to 25th in 10 venues across the City. |

The
Laughing Horse Free Festival Venues were established in 2004, with the aim of making the
Fringe more accessible and less expensive for performers - and also to provide top quality
shows for Fringe-goers at a bargain price. All of this in professionally run and equipped
venues, and bucking the trend of the larger venues who's prices increase year after year. To

The Free Festival
Venues cost a large amount of money each year to run and organise - some of this money is
recouped through Sponsorship, Advertising, Comedy Courses, and our own shows. If you would like to
