Matt
Price takes his audience on many different journeys. Often you won't see the end until the very last
minute. Poignant, brutally funny and sometimes heartbreaking stories from real life are turned into
well-crafted comedy fables.
A great story
teller. - Leicester Mercury, February 2006.
Matt is resident compere at the
Cardiff Wharf, the longest running comedy Club in Wales, and is also the support act for Noel James on
his Ballad of a Blue Man tour. He was a finalist in the Laughing Horse New Act of the Year
competition in 2004 and has since developed the art of making even the rowdiest audiences pay
attention.
He has a style that he can call his
own and one that is still very much developing.
Vulnerable, self-deprecating
and honest-sounding material, mixed with a big on-stage presence. - Daniel Parton, Kumquat
Comedy Club.
Has the rare talent of being
able to entertain just through being himself. - Gloucester Guildhall Comedy Club
Wasted no time in making his
return to his home county something of a triumph. - Duck Egg, Penzance
